Hi & welcome to our group:

Happy belated 1st birthday to your son.! We have had a lot of group

members whose child began their band treatment at an " older " age with

good correction. So don't worry! I am sure your son will get good

improvment too. My daughter Abby didn't begin her DOCband therapy

until she was 11.5 mos old. Abby wore one band for 4.5 mos time with

about 50-60% correction of her severe plagio. I am very very happy

with her results. Check out Abby's before & after pics here:

Good luck at the casting Tues.. Please let us know how it goes.

Welcome again :)

Robyn, Read your post. We are at about the some place you are. Our

son got his doc band at 9.5 mo. He was rated mod./severe. We are so

hopeful it will help him somewhat. He is almost 11 mo. now. Change

has been so hard to see so far. Everyone on this website has been so

optomistic. Only time will tell, I guess. Best of luck with yours and

keep us posted! Sue and Randy
