I'm on automatic updates too. I'm also furious that I could have spent

hundreds of dollars to Dell on Call and they would not have been able to fix

the problem. And, we know that MS knows all about us and what we do!!!

Tell me about it! I work for Boces and we support the computer networks

in the schools. 3 schools so far had major issues because of this patch.

Frustrating, isn't it!?

The more I think about it the madder I get. Do you think that everybody

that has Windows XP had the problem? If so, they probably P.O'd a TON of

people. And I'm sure there were a lot of people that DID spend time,

money, etc trying to figure out what was wrong with their computer. I

wonder why Microsoft didn't send out emails to everyone explaining that

there were problems and that they were working on a " fix. " It probably

would have saved a million headaches.
