Guest guest
, You know, at first I thought that article was a bit bizarre by it going play by play like reading a book- and then I thought, I probably had those conversations about this process myself- but what bothered me most was the lighthearted attitude shifted towards it being only " cosmetic " by the writer not talking about the potential medical issues later in life (TMJ, vision problems) in more detail. I tend to think that if the bones are shifted and not growing correctly, especially when the jaw is involved, there would be some discomfort down the road at the least. This is not just cosmetic, I feel its a medical neccesity just like glasses and braces are so widely accepted. URRRRGGGGG!!!!! Good thing we're fighting for our kids when no one else will!! Thanks for sending that- it was definetly worth reading (it did cover a lot of points that were right on so at least some of it will get through!) ' Mom P.S. Dane looks fantastic!!!!! WOOHOO!!! He must be close to graduation???
Guest guest
I was happy to at least see something written. My thought was at least if the word got out that problem can be treated, people will take the initiative and do their own research. > , > You know, at first I thought that article was a bit bizarre by it going play > by play like reading a book- and then I thought, I probably had those > conversations about this process myself- but what bothered me most was the > lighthearted attitude shifted towards it being only " cosmetic " by the writer > not talking about the potential medical issues later in life (TMJ, vision > problems) in more detail.
