Guest guest
Lori- I think after 18 months, your chances of the plagio returning are next to none, because of the assumption that the sutures will have just recently closed or started to close by 20 months, and the head will no longer be so malleable. It will be hardened. I think babies who start and finish treatment at a really young age are more at risk for a return of a flat spot, but I haven't even heard of that many cases in which that even has happened. So I'm sure your son will have no chances of that. Kellie, mom of Tacoma, WA
Guest guest
Lori, I would agree with Kellie here that your chances of an 18 month regressing to flatness should be slim to none. My son graduated at 8 months old and we have not seen any regression. Enjoy your success and don't worry!!! ' Mom
Guest guest
Lori, I'm thinking it would be VERY unlikely for a 20 month old baby to experience re-flattening. Those sutures are fusing and the skull is hardening. I don't think you need to worry! Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma
