Hi Molly & welcome to our group!

We're glad to have you with us! Are you in St. Louis MO? I know

there is a St. Louis IL member with our group, but I'm assuming

you're in MO.. St. Louis probably isn't any where near Kansas City

MO by chance is it? I'm in MI so I have NO clue!! We just had

another new group member from KC so that's why I'm asking. There's

also a Cranial Technologies Clinic in Kansas City MO, they make the

DOCband to treat plagio babies. You can visit Cranial Tech's webpage

at www.cranialtech.net.

Has your pediatrician mentioned anything to you about plagio or have

you found out this info on your own? If your ped. has diagnosed it,

what did he/she suggest? Many of our plagio babies were referred to

a specialist for an evaluation by them, usually a pediatric

neurosurgeon. From there, the specialist will suggest a band or

helmet or nothing at all.

My daughter also always slept on her right side only! No matter what

we tried to do, she always slept on her right.

I hate to cut this short, by my daughter is demanding me to get " up "

amd play with her.

Check out this webpage for great repositioning tips & other great

plagio information.

I hope to hear back from you & I hope there are some group members in

your area.! Welcome again.

Hey Molly!

I see you took my advice and joined over here!

Do you have any pictures of Yael's head? You might also want to

compare her to some of the heads in the photos section.

No, I don't have any pics of the back or top of her head yet. I'm

going to try to take a couple with this roll of film. I'm still

hoping there's someone here that lives nearby. I will also ask the

ped at our next visit but was hoping to find someone who might be

able to help me figure out if I even have anything for the ped to

diagnose...

Yes, St. Louis, MO

> there is a St. Louis IL member with our group

Really? St. Louis IL? Is that East St. Louis? Maybe they will contact

me....?,

> St. Louis probably isn't any where near Kansas City

About 5 hours away.

Yes, I have looked at that site. It's hard for me to tell about my

dd. suggested I take some pics. So I'll try that and maybe if

I look at the pics I will be able to see more if there is a problem.

> Has your pediatrician mentioned anything to you about plagio

No. I plan to ask at our next visit, which isn't until the end of

June. But with all the talk about sleeping on one side causing it in

some kids, I'm concerned and want to get as much info as possible. My

dd almost always sleeps on her right side. My dh thinks I'm seeing

things which is why I'm trying to find another way to really see if

she does have plagio....
