Guest guest
There lies the rub. Almost everything violates CW. We get a lot of protection inside . Regards RE: info needed There could still be a link to join this group. All the fabulous " files " of this group could be put on the site, except for anything that would violate copyright. . Guest guest
Another seemingly minor thing is a lot of inet data cannot be copied now, by any method. At least there is a hazard. Images can contain viruses. Not so much gov't sites but individual sites, company sites. Unless it says it's OK to right click the image, I suggest you don't. Regards. Re: info needed I think my wife owns several domain names thru a web hosting site and will see what I can find out before anyone jumps in. Thanks May your pressure be low! Clarence E. Guest guest
Just a caution to not look for a domain name just anywhere. I have had this happen with Go Daddy. I once looked for some sort of obscure name for my women's group. A few days later, it was gone and someone was emailing me to see if I wanted to buy it. I've never had it happen with free hosting from www.doteasy.com The problem is who is doing it and who is not. http://www.computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic <http://www.computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic & art icleId=9056778> & articleId=9056778 Val
Guest guest
Every time I looked at doing a website, it looked like a lotta time. I'd be glad to help whatever way I can. Guest guest
Jeff & Val - I do know several programers who can do the database setups, and find somoene willing to babysit it as part of a grad program, maybe with a med student. --but haven't been working with them for over a year - wiped out by sever sciatica/back surgery. JUst getting around again now. Interestingly, the cause turned out to be spinal canal stenosis (calcium deposits beyond the usual for my age, etc). " Alkalosis, " one ortho said as if surprised. I will ask my grad research prof, who's well-connected, on Tues.
