Guest guest
Hey there, Jack and I just wanted to say thanks for all the encouragement we've received since our first post...I hope that we can be successful in avoiding the use of the DOC Band. The Physical Therapist at Cranial Technologies did point our that this was found early enough that we may have success if we are persistent. I also wanted to mention that ALREADY (after 2.5 days) the excercises seem to be getting easier. He's not crying every time - as a matter of fact he's sometimes smiling and cooing at me. I really hope this doesn't mean I'm doing the exercises incorrectly. It even seems as though he's even voluntarily turning his head more to the right now than he was before we started! Is this possible? or am I deluding(sp?) myself? Also, I'm having trouble with Tummy Time! He hates it...I try just a few minutes at a time, then pick him up comfort him and put him back down...but he's hard to console...any suggestions? I haven't used a bouncy seat since his pediatrician diagnosed him and I wear him a lot in my carrier (not an easy task since he's already topped 16 pounds at his 2 month checkup). Thanks again for your advice and help!
