Guest guest
Kellie I know how you feel! It is sooo hard to hear your little one crying! I hate it so much. Mya has always been a really good sleeper. Lately i think shes been testing me cause only at night will she cry when I put her to put. Up untill now shes always layed down and went right to sleep (shes 10 months old) But now for the past week she will cry only for about 15 minutes but that 15 minutes seems like an eternity. Ive learned from my daughter chloe that Im not about to go into her room and get her out cause it will just make it worse. Chloe was always a terrible sleeper (age 4 now) And even till this day it is a struggle to get her to stay in bed and go to sleep and she still on occassion wakes me up in th emiddle of the night just for a hug or to say I love you. With my son (age 7 now) my husband put him in his crib at 6 weeks old did you read that 6 WEEKS OLD and let him cried I was soooo upset. My husband stood by the door and wouldnt let me go in I cried and cried my poor sweet innocent little helpless boy lay in there crying. It only took about 15 minutes and he was asleep. It took only one night of this and he has slept threw the night ever since. He is now a great sleeper. Goes to bed when he is told and never any problems. Although I wouldnt reccommend that route cause it was pure torture to me. But Mya always went to bed easily. At first she feel asleep nursing and then Id lay her down but as she got bigger I just developed a routine with her and layed her down and there was never any fussing. My personal oppinion is some children are harder to get to sleep then others. Mya and are easy sleepers they are also very passive mild mannered children. My chloe who is a terrible sleeper is high strung, strong willed and very emotional. Soooo I dont even know where I was going with all of this. But any way I know where you are at. Many many many nights I had to listen to chloe cry. and Now recently with Mya. But they wont hate you for it. My kids love me to death and have never showed in any way that they thought I was mean for leaving them cry to sleep. They were always happy to see me when the awoke from there sleep refresshed and ready to go. Hand in there. Christi mom to MYA (DOC band 3/6/02) > Okay.
