I have been on Potassium supplements for 6 months after they measured my potassium at 2.6. I have been on Norvasc for about 4 years. At this time I am only taking the Spironolactone. Stopped the Norvasc adn potassium supplements. One week after taking the Sriroolactone measure postassium level is 3.6 > > What has the BP been dong? Prior to taking the potassium supplements it was averaging about 148:94. After taking taking the potassium supplements it averages 140:77. I take the BP readings in the morning in a resting lying down position. I did suffer a TIA in 2006 and the only thing they found was very low potassium so they put me on supplements for several weeks. > > Any paid over kidneys after AVS?
