Guest guest
Hello to all: Just a quick update: Rhiannon is still doing really well with the helmet, and we are really pleased with the changes that we've seen so far, although I have to admit that I hate having to have her wear it. But, I am grateful that treatment exists, and that we are able to do this, so I just keep focusing on the outcome. I have called Cranial Technologies and have decided that I do want to take that 5 hour trip probably next month or so to get a second opinion from them. My hope is that they will look at Rhia and tell me to go home and be glad that we had such great results!! But, just for my own peace of mind I want the second opinion. We continue on with the Tort issue, and while she stays loose most of the time some days she seems to be tight, which is puzzling. I guess the tort issue is a day by day thing, so we'll just keep on with our therapies and stretching. Well, I hear my daughter calling me.. I will update again. Good luck to all of you as well.. , Rhiannon's mom

Update: Rhiannon Hello to all:I haven't been active on this website for a while, as I am just too busy right now, but I want to you all to know that I think of all our little plagio kids every day! I am hoping all our little ones are getting rounder, stronger and developing wonderfully, and that moms and dads are doing great too!We have good news with Rhiannon - she has "used up" the life of her first helmet (she's to the shell now), and will be casting for her second helmet on Saturday! She corrected to the life of the first helmet in only one month, and her head is pretty round in the back. Now to work on some of her other areas (facial asymmetry, parallelogram shape) with the new helmet. We saw amazing correction on both of these areas already, but we feel that since she is still responding so well to the treatment, and since we do have some areas that can still move, why not do it? When it's over, I want to feel that we did all we could for my beautiful darling and want to have no regrets! As you all may remember, we are driving 325 miles (that's 5 hours one way) to the nearest CT. Her midline is just fine (she claps!) and she can roll over both ways, front to back and back to front. She is almost sitting all by herself (she does so now with a little help), and we are working on crawling - that one is a little harder for a baby who doesn't particularily care for her tummy time, but I think that as soon as she figures out that she can MOVE on her tummy, that will be motive enough LOL.Well, gotta run. Guest guest
Hi : Sorry I have been out of touch, but we had a family funeral (dh's 97 year old grandmother - more of a fond farewell), plus I am in school too! Never thought I could be so busy! Yes, we want to hook up with you too. We cast again on Saturday, but we will be taking off as soon as we are done as we have company arriving on Sunday. SOOOOO, maybe the next visit? I really would like to see you too. You can always email me directly at dweston6587@.... Take care, > that is great news..keep up the great work..hope the 2nd band is a success to..glad to hear you are doing good even tho the drives are long..remember, i have a spare room and i'm not to far away from mad so if you ever just need someplace to crash or someone to talk to..please contact me..i am still eager to hear from you.. > > brenda > mom of tucker > wi.. > Update: Rhiannon > > > Hello to all: > > I haven't been active on this website for a while, as I am just too > busy right now, but I want to you all to know that I think of all our > little plagio kids every day!
