I got a spliting headache after being here for 3 days.

The first 3 days, no headache. I am trying to drink more water, and

took Tylenol (acetimenophen) 1000 mg. I feel hot indoors and do not

feel cold outdoors. It has been about 18 degrees farenheit during the

day which is just fine for me. I do wear lots of layers. Skiing is

very tiring, and I have been sore all over in the evening. I have

though continued Dash but my feet feel very swolen.

I did not think of bringing my blood pressure monitor - so maybe I

will try to find a place to check it if possible.

I asked a local pharmacist about taking the carbonic anyhdrase loop

diuretic DIAMOX but he said it would definite deplete potassium very

fast and knew nothing of Eplerenone nor Spironolactone nor combining

them.

He said I need oxygen, but that oxygen is very expensive.

Best wishes, and I will be down at 0 altitude on January 23, 2008 -

until then up here at 8,000 feet.

You have high altitude sickness. You might have to stay in and sleep

tomorrow.

one issue is drinking too much water at high alt can lower Na and

cause headache. I would drink only when thirsty. I think it is a

good idea to check with a Dr up there.
