Guest guest
It is the Sleep Apnea that is bad at 8,000 feet. Hyperaldosteronism is ok. I caught myself breathing through my mouth. Nose is still bleeding. That is why I try to go to bed at 9pm and get 9 hours of rest. But I have noticed that there is a headache every morning. I am actually having fun, but the skiing is cold. It is -5 degrees Farenheit outside, so I wear lots of layers and hand warmers in my gloves and also on my face. I will be back home Wednesday, January 23, 2008. Guest guest
Yep, for me a one-sided headache upon or shortly after awakening is a sure sign my OSA is not well-managed. Do you know you to self-adjust the pressure on your machine? You might want to bump it up a bit. On 1/18/08, airlinerg <airlinerg@...> wrote: > It is the Sleep Apnea that is bad at 8,000 feet. Guest guest
Hi Just a comment. I have sleep apnea and I use a RemStar CPAP machine. My machine has three settings: a low altitude, normal and a high altitude setting. I go to the Idaho Sawtooth mountains fairly often which is high altitude also and when I do I change the setting to high and I have no noticeable difference. I notice a difference without the change. I hope this might help you. Randy <><May we all be DASHing!!!><> ---------------------------------------- From: datawrhsdoc@... Guest guest
I could, but the nose bleeds every night at 8 cm of pressure as is. I will be back at home on Tuesday night, January 22, 2008 anyway. Thanks for the suggestion. > > It is the Sleep Apnea that is bad at 8,000 feet. Hyperaldosteronism is > > ok.
