12 Month Old - How much improvement can we expect?

I'm new here - Hi everyone! Our son turned 1 this past Sunday and we

go for casting on Tuesday for a Doc Band. By the time we get the

band, he'll be just over 12.5 months old and I'm wondering if anyone

here can tell me what sort of results they saw with an older baby.

We don't expect 100% improvement, not even 50%, but feel that even a

25% improvement would be worth the effort. Has anyone ever not seen

any improvement on a child who started between 12 and 13 months old?

The pediatric neurosurgeon we went to for the referral was not overly

optimistic about the level of improvement we would see, so I'm

looking for some words of encouragement.
