Guest guest
This is probably a dumb question but here goes...before I can write an appeal to CCN for denying the DOCband for Mackenzie, do I have to wait for the denial letter itself? We know it was denied because CT got the call and received the verbal denial. However, most of the sample appeal letters I've seen in the help section here all reference a denial letter itself. Are we spinning our wheels again until we receive the actual written denial? Boy, do I hope that all of that made sense...if anybody could help me, I'd really appreciate it. & Mackenzie Phoenix, AZ
Guest guest
-- Awwwww I'm sorry cigna denied you too! You need the letter to have specific reason but you can start your research now. The files here have great stuff!! So does the information center at CT's site. I decided not to send in pictures of la's head. She has moderate plagio and I thought possibly pictures might make Cigna say she's not that bad. So if you think the picture show obvious plagio and could help you I would..if not don't. I also would include the lawsuit where the family sued doctors about plagio and the new one where someone won a case against Cigna!! I am sure one of the reasons for denial will be for not a functional abnormality(cosmetic) so find any article that states what can happen if plagio is not treated. I faxed in 25 papers of articles copied from here and CT site. I can't remember if you said Mackenzie was born with plagio?? I think that also helped my case that la was born with plagio and also I think having tort. did too. When you appeal you should try to get an expedited review so you can get an answer quick!!! I will try to think of more when you find out the reasons for denial...hang in there, they just hope people will not appeal so they don't have to shell out money!!! You Can Win!!!!!!
