Okay. I just wrote that post five minutes ago, and he did fall asleep! Yay! The crying went away and I just checked on the poor guy and he was clutching his teddy bear and in a kneeling position with his forehead up against the crib...poor thing. And when I moved him to a lying position, he started crying again, but fell back asleep.

Maybe we've made some progress!
