Guest guest
, The only thing that worked for us was to side sleep - having to turn his head to the tort side while on his back- it would only spring back within seconds. So we found that laying him on his left side was better than him turning to the right constantly. Good luck- I know its hard work- keep on turning! Guest guest
Well, I have been successful FINALLY getting Grant, who is 8 months off the left side of his head. And this is after 7 months of him always turning it the the left side. I used one of those sleep positioners with the wedge on each side and put him on his right side completely for a few nights. I had to velco that thing tight so he couldn't roll in it. I think he can if he really wants to, but he falls asleep fast and doesn't move a lot once he's asleep. Then after doing that a few nights I still used the positioner, but made it so one wedge is up under his back on the left side, so gravity kind of forces the head to eventually fall to the right (this is also after 3 weeks of aggressive PT at home to get those neck muscles loose enough to even be able to fall that way). HTH...it's what is working for us. artbyjules <artbyjules@...> wrote: Any suggestions for getting ny to sleep facing to his left, rather than to his right? We have a sleep positioner, but ny is so big (5 months old-21 lbs.) that he eventually ends up lying flat in his crib. Thanks!ny's MomFor more plagio info
