Guest guest
Ellen: Wow, I can see why you are totally frustrated! What is the problem with your ped. getting the information to CT?? Good grief. I suggest calling your ped's office every hour to drive them totally crazy, so they'll just get CT your information to get you off their back!!! That's ridiculous! A lot of members do go ahead & get their child casted before insurance approval or denial to avoid delays. Cranial Tech will often take payment plans, talk that over with them! I really hope your ped. gets his butt in gear & gets the information to CT ASAP! Otherwise, I really suggest driving him crazy with phone calls! hehe. Let us know when he gets the info. out. Good luck. Debbie Abby' smom DOCGrad MI > Newbie Amy, awaiting casting > > I'm getting very frustrated by what seemed to be a simple process. Guest guest
Ellen, If you can possibly wait for the letters it would be best, however, if you feel you can simply not wait any longer then go for it. It is true that your benefits could be lowered if you proceed without the proper authorization. Good luck with your decision and keep us posted! Guest guest
Ellen, If your calls to your ped to get that referral moving doesn't work- I would ask for his hours and schedule an appt. to see him in person. I would explain that time is of the essence and he is jeopardizing the care of your child by possibly having you lose that casting date appt. Make this as urgent as you can to your Doc and let him know that this is very important. Good luck and I hope the squeaky wheel gets the referral ' Mom
