Re: I'm here after all

Well the CAT scan went fine. When I got there, they told me that I should have kept Tommy up all morning since 7AM (it was 12:30 at the time) and that the sedation wouldn't work. WRONG!!! It took 5 minutes and he was snoring. The CAT scan was a little scary to watch; I didn't like seeing Tommy all tied and bundled up. I got to see the images as they popped up, though, and I was startled at how assymetrical his face really is! I never really look at him that way anymore since he's so cute regardless. :)His lower jaw is the worst. The left side is much smaller. I am a little concerned now that it will require further correction. I am keeping my fingers crossed. They also did a couple of spinal and cervical (the neck) Xrays. I guess my Dr. wants to make sure there is no abnormality there, either. At least I only had to deal with Tommy. He was a little terror until the sedative kicked in. Then he was a little floppy. ;)As of today, he is still a bit lethargic. I am going to find out just what they gave him so they can give less if there ever is a next time. His reaction to the drug was a bit extreme. Babies are supposed to be really sleep-deprived before the drug is given and even then it is supposed to take an hour to kick in. I will let you all know what the results are!!!Jill Ramos, Las Vegas, NV For more plagio info
