Took Grant to CT

We spent the morning at CT (actually Rehab Designs of America - a CT

authorized clinic in KC). Grant had moderate to severe plagio

shape. I'm not sure what I'm going to do from here. I am about to

call my ped and talk with him about it. The concern for waiting even

2 more weeks to see the specialist is that Grant's head is already

ahead of his body (head is in the 90%, body in the 50%) and there is

a chance the head growth could start to slow down while his body

catches up...so the sooner he's banded..probably the better. I am

going to see if the ped will agree to write an rx so we can get the

ball rolling, in agreement to keeping the appt. with the craniofacial

specialist to rule out craniosyntesis. CT also gave me a name of

another craniofacial spec. with the hopes that possibly I can get in

to see this one even sooner if I explain that CT has looked at him

and thinks he needs to be banded asap. Phone calls to make! I'll

keep you updated!

I am glad you were able to get into Cranial Tech to have Grant

evaluated & they gave you their opinion. Let us know if you were

able to talk with your ped & what you will be doing from here.

,

Thanks for the update on Grant. I can understand the rush to get things

moving if they think Grant's growth might start slowing! Good luck with

whichever path you choose and keep us posted.
