Guest guest
We got some good news today. Dane got his last adjustment. There isn't anything left to adjust! He doesn't have anymore facial asymmetry and his cranial vault went from 14mm to between 2-4 mm, which is normal. Wow! We are so happy. I am now starting to worry about the regression issue!!! After hearing that, I came home to find my denial letter from UHC. He will be out of the band before that fight is over! I am so glad we were financially able to pay upfront as opposed to waiting for UHC to pay. I swear if that had happened to us, I have sued them so fast. We are scheduled for an exit casting 5/24, but after reading all these posts about the exit headsicles being incorrect, I think we will be skipping that. Dane isn't too fond of being poked and prodded. He threw a fit today just getting measured. Yesterday both of our kids got ultrasounds of their kidneys (I had kidney reflux-which is hereditary). He didn't even want that done - and that was nothing! I can't imagine him behaving for the exit cast. Too bad there isn't a scanner thing here. I'm not going to torture him only to receive poor results because he will be thrashing all over the place. I can't believe this is the same baby who was so great for his MRI, barium swallow and all that stuff. The nurses at the hospital told me that he would probably always be well mannered while being examined. Boy were they wrong! Guest guest
! What terrific news about Dane's great correction & almost being an official Graduate . I'm very very happy for you. Don't let mine & Kelli's feelings about our exit castings persuade you against getting one for Dane. I have no doubt we are in the minority with our exit cast results. But from the sounds of it, Mr. Dane is getting a bit stubborn & it might be more trouble than it's worth Now for your bad news about ins., I'm so disappointed to read you were denied again. I have NO doubt though, that you'll fight them til the very end. Let us know when Dane is oficially done! Hope you had a good mom's day. Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad MI > We got some good news today. Guest guest
, That is awesome news that Dane is just about done! I can't believe the amount of correction he received in a relatively short amout of time. Way to go Dane!! I don't blame you one bit about bypassing the exit cast. Its one less thing to stress over. Speaking of things to stress over, I'm sorry to hear of your denial. Keep fighting , and stick it to 'em! You're doing a great job!
