Guest guest
Oh ! I am SO happy to read of your GREAT visit to Cranial Technologies! If anyone deserves a good outcome - it's you & little Rhia. I understand totally what you are saying. I too was amazed at how incredibally thoughtful, caring & knowledgeable everyone at CT was compared to what I had previously gone through. You should be VERY proud of the correction Rhia has already gotten from your repositioning efforts. You are a terrific mom & should be very proud of yourself. Glad to hear the drive went well Hoping your future trips will be so happy as well. Also glad the casting wasn't as bad as you had prepared for! Next up is a rounder head for Rhia. You sound very upbeat & happy with your decision already. Now just wait to see her head rounding over the next few mos.. Let us know when her band is in. Guest guest
Holly, Just a thought- does anyone have a letter in the database that would allow a draft copy to be written by you, and then sent to the staff so that they could tweak it how they want it- but it would get a jump start on getting that letter written? Lots of times we (totally non-medical though) get draft letters from companies that state what and how they want the City to write their letters, and we just go off of that and make the changes we feel are important. This might help in getting their attention at the very least, while at the same time trying to afford them the extra help that staff needs right now. May be a long shot but thought I'd throw it out there! ' Mom
Guest guest
, Glad to hear that the casting went well. As I have stated before, I am impressed that you are driving so far for the treatment! I also agree with you about kind treatment by folks at CT. I have gotten so used to being rushed in and out of medical appts. by providers who seem to be in a hurry to get to the next patient. It was refreshing to meet with people who really seemed to care about our baby and were willing to take the time to answer our questions. My pediatrician's office, on the other hand, STILL hasn't written the letter of medical necessity that I need, despite 4-5 phone calls by me. (They plead understaffing and keep promising to do it.) I am glad that 's ped. diagnosed the plagio early but really wish that his staff would follow up on their promise to write the letter! Guest guest
Hi Holly: Thanks for your post, and your support. It is exciting to be waiting for the band, isn't it? I just want to get it on her and let it start working! It looks like we will be getting our bands one day apart - us on the 29th and you on the 30th! We'll have to keep in touch! I hope that your ped's office gets that paperwork done asap. Too bad that you have to wait around for it. Very frustrating. Hoping for good news on the paperwork... , Rhiannon's mom > > Hello to all: > > > > Just wanted to check in and let you all know Rhiannon was casted > > today at CT in Madison.
