I cant offer much here but I have come to realize EVERYONE here has somthing to

offer the others....I am glad you got the answers you were looking for from CT.

I'm sorry the lady at the San Diego office was so Rude and uncaring...Trisha

I spoke with CT today about

Hello to all,

Many of you have recommended I speak with someone at CT to gain

another perspective regarding my son and his Plagio. I did call

on the CT center in San Diego and I was not impressed. The person I

spoke with did not ask any other questions than who is my insurance

carrier. I was not asked about once. When I gave her my

insurance carrier's name she said she did not believe it would be

covered. I asked her to research and if my insurance would not cover

it I would be able to personally. She told me she would call back and

I have not heard from her since...that was three days ago.

Today, I called the center in Phoenix and fortunately, I was

forwarded to the President after explaining the previous treatment I

received. What a difference!! She listened, she informed, she

listened, she informed, etc. She gave me the time I needed and not

once asked who my insurance company was, or offered the price of the

DOC band; she simply acted very professionally and appropriately.

I am glad I made another call and heeded the advise from this group.

I am to new to offer much more than my current experiences to this

group, but I hope that one day I offer something as valuable as I

have taken.

Thanks again,

's Dad,

Trisha,

YOU SAID IT! Without all of these caring parents now going through the process to those that have finished sharing their insight and experiences, this Board would not be as wonderful as it is!! Thanks to all of you that are putting fingers to keyboards and helping to educate so many!

I am so glad to hear that you received a call from THE President to answer

your questions- boy are you a mover and a shaker ;o)

You are already a great asset to the group by sharing your experience, and

soon you'll be able to say, been there, done that and share that as well! So

looking forward to that for the sake of ! Good luck and let us know if

your getting the DOC band, STARband or locally made helmet!

Jeez - that stinks that the San Diego office couldn't think beyond the

insurance stuff. I'm glad you got better treatment from the Phoenix office.

Will you proceed with treatment at the San Diego office? Maybe they just have

bad front desk help. The PTs might be awesome!!

you have already offered quite a bit to this group and I have no doubt

that you will have a lot to add in the weeks and months to come!!

My daughter Annika just got her DocBand from the San

Diego office. I am sorry to hear about your bad

experience. Please do not be discouraged. The PT -

Dionne is great. I recommend that you still try to

see her and ask her all of your questions. We

actually went in a couple of times to monitor changes

before we decided to go ahead with the band.

The San Diego office was also very helpful in getting

our insurance denial overturned.

Please let us know what you decide to do.
