Guest guest
Our little one, Sofia has a casting appt. for May 28th at Cranial therapies in Burbank, CA. We found to be very knowledgeable and helpful with all of our questions. She will be getting a DOC band by early June. He said the 8-10 minutes for the casting will seem like a very long time for my husband and I, but Sofia will be okay and it does not hurt. I hope I do not get too anxious or emotional. I have been to the photos and guidelines for the casting. thank you for making it accessible. i think we will probably take a camera to capture this hopefully one time event on film. If anyone else has any tips for the casting, i would love to read them. thanks, Kellie cruz ( mom to Sofia..6 mths) thousand Oaks, California
Guest guest
Kellie, It sounds like you will be taking someone with you and that would be my biggest piece of advice. That one person can hold Sofia and the other can be the entertainment. Bring some toys that make noise or play music to distract her. Also, you might want to bring your own soap/shampoo. I believe CT has an area to bath your baby after the casting and you might want your own supplies. Oh, a nice soft towel too! Good luck and let us know how it goes.
