Guest guest
: You sound like you are feeling a bit more positive about things today than you were earlier this week, that's great. I am so happy to hear the bump on Rhia's head has lessened, I am sure it will be totally gone soon . Glad to hear Rhia is much more comfortable w/o wearing her helmet and is actually getting a good night's sleep (mommy too!). Please keep us updated on her progress with all the treatments she is attending. Also let us know how the appt goes with Cranial Tech......but definitely, enjoy your " sabbatical " away from your computer & spend lots of time cuddling with your pride & joy's pretty little head . Guest guest
Hello all: Well, good news. We have our appointment with CT in Madison next Monday, May 20th. As my ped would not write the script for the helmet, we see the neurosurgeon first, then the CT folks. So, we will most likely do the casting next Monday, provided the Dr. thinks it would be beneficial. I just have to say that CT has been WONDERFUL to me throughout this entire hellish experience that I had here in St. . Their information has been consistant and helpful, they have been accommodating and understanding, and, listen to this - the OT will happen to be in Minneapolis next weekend, so she will call me and " stop by for a peek " just to take a preliminary look to see if we will most likely need the helmet or not. She is doing this to help us on her day off. Of course, only the neurosurgeon can make that decision for sure, but she is trying to make sure they are ready for us on Monday. (I think they are squeezing us in that afternoon, so she wants to see if they should have the casting plaster ready or not LOL.) Well, that's all for now. I will check in after we get back from Madison to let you all know what happened. Good luck to all our little guys and gals this week - and here's hoping for many big growth spurts! , Rhiannon's mom
Guest guest
: Good luck at the appt next week. It sounds like you are now considering getting Rhia a DOCband more than you were last week - I remember those days! One day I wanted to get Abby into the DOCband, the next I didn't (after her unsuccessful STARband!). I know just how you feel . That's so nice of your OT to stop by CT to " peek " in! How dedicated. Good luck next week - be sure you let us know what happened. Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad MI p.s...how was your weekend? That was a pretty short " computer sabbatical " .
