Guest guest
Hi : As Marci already replied, we have had successes & failures with the STARband amongst many group members. My daughter unfortunately wore a STARband for 3 mos with no improvement, it actually dented her skull in a bit on what was the good side of her head as a result of incorrect pressures being applied. Abby's orthotist was not very well trained, therefore, we had bad results. If you do decide to go with the STARband, be sure to thoroughly interview the orthotist. Ask him/her for references, photos of babies he has treated, etc.. There's a great list of questions to ask at www.plagiocephaly.org/support - " questions for the Dr " . Do you know of any STARband providers in your area?
