I'm glad its going well for you guys....I hear the decorating is the fun

part...I took the DOC calendar to Braedens daycare to day and asked them to look

at it and give me some input of paiting ideas...I thought about getting all the

kids in his class to put their fingerprints on it....but I dunno...I still have

a week to think and ponder...I'm just happy that little one is doing ok w/the

band...Trisha

Thanks for your your thoughts today. All went well. Gabby tried to

pull off the band a few times but never even gave a whimper about it.

I got all the info about checking for red spots every 3 hours and

hopefully if she does not have any red spots that stay for over an

hour,she will sleep in it tomorrow night. She fell asleep on the way

home which I think is a good sign!! She has to go back in 1 week to

check it, but after that it will be every 2 weeks. They estimate she

will have to wear it around 4 months. I was suprised considering her

age. I expected them to say closer to 6 months!I just took her band

off after her first 3 hours and OMigosh was her head sweaty!!! Yuck

LOL. For tonight I was told she could leave it off for the rest of

the night. We had a late appointment so it is 7:30 here. Well I just

have to decorate and then I can share some pictures!! Yay the

rounding has begun!!!!!!!!!!!!~ & la

Glad to hear that the band is going well so far. The sweating should become

less over the next couple of weeks, although she will still probably get kind

of sweaty if the weather is warm or when she is in the car if it is warm

outside.

Can't wait to see pics of the decorated band. Good luck and keep us posted!
