Guest guest
Kelli: Oh she sounds so much like Abby it's scary! Abby still isn't talking as much as I feel she should be at 26 mos., but has no trouble saying " no mine! " and of course " barney " . But last night, the poor kid was trying SO hard to tell me something she wanted, it came out as " deet " .....I of course had NO clue what she was talking about, she got soooo frustrated & mad at me after 5 mins, she had a break down & ended up throwing Mr. Potato Head at me! LOL. She quickly recovered and stupid me finally realized she wanted " deer " or her Bambi video! It's just so frustrating for everyone when they aren't talking well enough to be understood! I really felt bad for her & just had to laugh after I put her in time out for whipping the ever so dangerous Mr. Potato Head at me . Enjoy the trying days as much as you can! I know how trying they can be sometimes!! Abby has been an angel for 3 wks now & I cannot get over it! Kids really can be fun! Debbie Abby's mom MI > > Thank you , it's seems like ages ago now though. She's growing by leaps and bounds, and so cute. every day is different. We have our trying days, whew. I love her to pieces reguardless!!! already in a 2T length wise, way over the chart in height. And only 17 months old. She loves to run everywhere, and although quiet, she does have times where she tried to imitate things we say. Last night it was thank you. I would say thank you, after she would give me papers off the floor, and she would say her version of it, laugh and hand me something else for me to say it again, only to repeat the process about 7 times...lol. Shes trying two words at a time, shocked me. I so love every stage of her life. While I wish sometimes she were older, to get past this stage of pointing and saying ehhh at everything. enough to drive me loony i swear...lol. I'll email a picture soon. > > Kelli and DOC band grad > > > > --------------------------------- >
