CTI has been working on 3-D imaging system for some time--as they tend to do, dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's! I can tell you that CTI has two studies underway in Phoenix. I've seen the technical report [it's very impressive]. I gave Tim a call to see what information I could share. I'm slowly twisting his arm to see if I can release the technical report on www.Plagiocephaly.org. Here's what I can tell you so far: The CTI imaging systems: *captures a full 360 degree image, including top of the head *is not affected by motion of infant *takes only 0.006 seconds to capture image *the infant sits on stool w/ parent supporting *is accurate to +/- 0.50 mm *uses no lasers *position / orientation of infant is not critical *the images can be viewed as: Photograph, surface, or wire frame *generates a difference map between pre and post-treatment images That's it for now. Hope to have more to say later. However, I promise you that when the studies are published, the final report will be available on www.Plagiocephaly.org. The technical report looks good, but maybe the mom whose child had it done can tell us what the experience was like. BTW, did you get to see the data?
