Frustrated!!!!!!!

Well I just don't know what to do. I would appreciate any and all advice. First Health called CT on April 26th to let them know we were denied. CT called back and found out the reason was they did not have enough info from the doctor for medical necessity. Well 2 weeks later I still have not received the denial letter. So I called today. They told me they officially denied it on May 4th and to not expect a letter for another 2 weeks. What the ? So now it will be a month before we get it. Now my daughter will be 7 months and who knows how old she will really be before we can get this going. We have an appointment with a craniofacial doctor on May 21st. I keep telling myself at least this is something positive. But with our luck insurance will change the reason they told CT and this wont help. Sorry to vent for so long. My question is what are my rights to get this letter sooner. I feel like all I can do is rant and rave but insurance has all the power. Thanks for reading this whole novel.

I would think you could request a copy of the official denial to be

faxed to you, but I am not sure. I don't understand either why it

would take so long for this to be mailed out to you. Have you

requested them to fax you a copy?

Thanks Debbie for the info. But guess what I got in the mail today. The denial letter. I guess you can't get the correct info from any of them. But at least I have the letter even though it doesn't make much sense.
