Guest guest
, I can't remember how Zac is. Every baby corrects at a different rate dependent on growth spurts. If Zac has had some good growth spurts and you haven't seen comparable correction then perhaps the band needs to be re-made (that would unfortunately involve another casting!) If Zac is older then correction will occur much slower. Also, has Zac been evaluated for cranio? I don't want to alarm you, but SOMETIMES babies who don't respond well to the banding may have cranio. Still, it could also be related to an ill-fitting band or slower growth due to an older age. Good luck and let us know what Dr. Blecher says. Guest guest
, Thanks for the update. Has Zac ever been diagnosed with torticollis? I ask because when you refer to him having a twisted skull, this is essentially what the term torticollis means, a twisted skull (even though its cause mainly stems from a muscle tightness). Does he favor one side? Does he look both ways? Is his head ever tilted to one side or the other? Please let me know as this may be torticollis. I will attach a few links and you can decide if this information pertains to your son or not. Good luck and please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.
