Guest guest
Jill, Well, it's probably better that you have the " safety " of being in the hospital. Wow - it sounds like healthcare is pretty much a mess in Las Vegas!! Sorry about the vitamins - they made me totally sick too! Marci
Guest guest
Jill- With all the problems finding a doctor in your area, I don't know if I am of any help with this suggestion, but when I was pregnant with , my doctor gave me some samples of different pills I could take, and one that I particularly liked, but never got to really take because had to switch to military doctors, was a chewable strawberry or raspberry flavored pill. It was to die for! I actually looked forward to taking my vitamins every day. And then I got married and lost my insurance and had to go back to basics with military. Got the big ol gaggin horse pills. And they made me sick too! I swear, if I weren't religiously taking my bc pills, I'd swear up and down I am pregnant right now. I have a really bad cold right now, which, colds never make me feel nauseaous. I never got sick at all in the last pregnancy, however, got the urge several times, all induced by chicken products. The reason I suspected my pregnancy with was my abnormal diversion to the Burger King chicken sandwich, which was my favorite! Could not even look at it while pregnant and still cannot to this day. Anyway, yesterday had chicken nuggets for lunch, and after he finished I put the plate in the sink and just kind of brushed off the remains. I meant to throw it down the garbage disposal but got caught up in something else, I guess. Anyway, last night when I went to fill the dishwasher, I saw little chicken pieces that had gotten soaked in the sink just sitting there, and I could smell them and I swear I was just gagging. I'm sorry to anyone who is having the unfortunate experience of reading this. I am gagging just thinking about it. But this has happened before and it didn't bother me this much. Yikes! Hopefully it's just a side effect from my cold. As much as I want another one, I really want to wait another year. Anyway, Jill, there's my two cents about prenatal vitamins. I am going to try to find out what those were called. Kellie
Guest guest
oh no..the pills are making you sick!! i had the same problem with the ones i was taken with tucker..this time around (pills are just precaution, not prego.YET) the dr specified no substitutes and these pills don't make me sick..are your pills generic that may be the problem..just thought i would throw that in.. brenda mom of tucker Finding a prenatal Dr...the saga continues (non-plagio) Well, I finally found a nurse practitioner who is taking new patients so I will be able to deliver in a hospital after all. But has anybody experienced this amount of idiocy?Get this...I call the appt. line to make an appt, and the scheduler tells me that I have to get a blood test to confirm my pregnancy before I can see an OB. This seems a little odd to me, but I figure, hey, they're the experts. So I pack up the twins and drive down to the medical building where they have a lab. When I get there, the receptionist tells me that I need a lab slip from my OB before they can take my blood. The same OB that I can't get an appt with until my blood test comes back. Fortunately the lab manager came out and got a slip for me from the OB (who had no idea what the appt line was putting people like me through) and I got my blood taken. He told me to go home and make the appt with my new OB. Having finished this, I go back home and give the appt. line a call. Would you believe they refuse to take an appt until my blood test comes back? I thought a Catch 22 was a concept, not a reality! (and to top everything off, my vitamins are making me sick today--arrgh)Jill Ramos, Las Vegas, NV For more plagio info
