We were pleasantly surprised by the story. The reporter is a nurse, so I think she really understood what plagio is by the time she did the story. They showed Sara getting her exit cast and I thought it was pretty good video. Sara was sucking her thumb and only mildly unhappy. Then they showed Sam getting his last adjustment (he graduated 2 days later) and he loved the cameraman. The only thing that I wished was different was that she never mentioned tort. Oh well, you can't win 'em all. The story was about 2.5 minutes long, so they did a pretty good job with the time they had. It was probably enough to make some parents talk to their pediatrician about potential problems, and that was what we were hoping for.

Here's more good news...the story is going national tomorrow. What that means is that they are sending it out to CBS stations across the country and they can choose to air the story on their local broadcasts. You can probably call your local CBS stations and ask if they are going to air the plagiocephaly story out of Dallas. If not, then sometime in the next few days it will be available on the Dallas station's website, and I'll send you a link to view it on the web. We really had a lot of fun doing this. I hope it makes a difference.

I'm sorry, but you'll have to go through their agent for something like that (hehehe). Just kidding. They were so cute. My hubby had someone come up to him at work today and say they saw him on TV, and it was someone that wouldn't have known ahead of time. At least I know that people were watching the news last night and maybe the word got out.
