Guest guest
Hi all! DH and I took Timmy to the Cranialfacial Specialist at Yale on Friday. We were supposed to see Dr. Shin, but we ended up seeing Dr. Persing, which was ok with us because he is the director of the department over there. The upshot of the whole visit is that Timmy has moderate plagio and he is recommending a DOC band for him. He said that it is up to us, but he would do it. That's all we needed to hear from the doctor, so we're going ahead with it. I contacted CT yesterday and they already had the prescription from Dr. Persing and were just waiting for the clinical letter. I gave them all my insurance information and now we wait 5-7 business days. at CT says that she has had some success with Oxford insurance. Sometimes they simply approve payment and other times you have to go through the appeal process. So maybe we won't have too difficult a time getting insurance to pay. Either way, as soon as we hear from them initially, we're going to go ahead and get him casted. We'll pay out of pocket if we have to, to get things started. So maybe by the end of next week or the beginning of the following, Timmy will be casted. Thank you all for your support. I was feeling a little overwhelmed about all this initially, but now I feel so much better knowing that the wheels are in motion. ~ ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).Version: 6.0.361 / Virus Database: 199 - Release Date: 5/7/
