Guest guest
Hi, My name is Andersen, mother of , 6 mo's. I've chimed in to a few e-mails, but I've never really introduced myself. has been in her DOC Band for one month now and I can already see a big difference in her little head. She's expected to wear the band for 4 months. She has moderate plagio, probably caused by torticollis, which I'm doing stretches for and have seen a great improvement. This group is so helpful and supportive and I'm glad to be a part of it. I just sent my first appeal letter to Regence Life & Health (BCBS or Oregon) and I wouldn't have known where to begin if it wasn't for all the info the group has provided. Thanks again to all the parents in this group. Andersen Southern California __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi & welcome Sounds like things are already going wonderfully with in her DOCband! That's great news . We're glad the group helped some. Also great news that her torticollis has improved with your stretches. So did begin treatment at 5 mos? That's a great age to begin to see great & fast improvement. Keep appealing with your insurance. On what grounds did they deny coverage? Welcome again, we hope to hear more from you. Thanks for welcoming me. did start treatment at 5 mo's and Cranial Therapies said it was an optimal age to see fast and good results. I will continue to appeal my insurance if they continue to deny us. They denied us on the basis that the band is " not medically necessary. " More like, they just don't want to pay for it! Thanks again. , 's Mom Southern California > Welcome again, we hope to hear more from you. > Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad > MI > > > > Hi, > > My name is Andersen, mother of , 6 > > mo's.
