Christi-

What if a baby has brachycephaly or scaphocephaly? Does Tricare

cover it then? That is pretty stupid! Dane had a little brachy

along with the plagio. Maybe if a baby has very minor brachy in

addition to the plagio, they could say brachycephaly instead of

positional plagiocephaly. It is so wrong for anyone to have to

fight their insurance company, let alone people in the military.

They need to stop sitting on their thumbs.

Yes I am suprised theyve already paid 1/3 of it too. Still praying

that they pay all of it. Yes the potty in the tub issue is much

better. Although she did poop in the tub last night. She hadnt done

it in about a week and 1/2 before that. SO its getting much better

compared to doing it in the tub every single night. It was getting

sooo frustrating. haha. But we are getting through that one thank

goodness. Im sure there will be many more icky things to deal with

down the road. :-)

hmmm good question. I never even thought of that. Yeah it is so

stupid that insurance companies wont cover this. Tricare says its

cosmetic which I do not understand one bit. They also say theres no

proof that the DOC band even does anything compared to no treatment

at all. These morons sitting at TRicare and every other insurance

company have no idea what they are even denying. They have the DOC

band in a class along with shoe inserts. Now come on! How

rediculous! Anyway hopefully this loop hole works and maybe some

other people who dont exactly have " positional plagiocephaly " can use

it to fight too.
