I agree with you totally. We were told in the NICU when was born that if we put him down to sleep right after feeding him, to place him on his right side. Well, when he was really little, he always fell asleep right after eating, so he was always on his right side. They never said alternate sides or anything like that or not one thing about tummy time, and how was I to know? I had never even cared for a newborn before. Well, by the time the next one comes, I will know better. Sheesh!
