Guest guest
Thank you ----- but I have one question...if I am going to the DOI how should I handle that...I have the letter I sent to Cigna in regards to all of their inconsistancies I wanted to send to DOI but should I cc: Cigna? I am asking you because I know you have worked w/ins stuff before....I can e-mail you the letter I wrote to cigna if that would help you to better understand what I am reporting...just let me know.... It's a tough place to be in - I guess I would say to follow your instinct. Will the attorney help you if you decide not to go after your drs?I understand how busy you must be so just check in with an update every once-in-awhile.Best wishes -Marci (Mom to )OklahomaFor more plagio info
Guest guest
Trisha- If you do send in info to the DOI, resquest that they contact you prior to a decision being made. I sent a letter complaining about UHC. They lost my paperwork so many times. In the letter I oulined why I was fighting the denial. The ODI (Ohio Dept of Ins) sent me a letter acknowledging my letter and requested more info. I maile the info 6/10. 6/11 I got a letter from the ODI dated 6/4 that I had lost my appeal. Nobody had even informed me of the appeals process. ly I thought I would have to drive down there and present my case. I never know I had nothing to do with it! My case had been transferred to another analyst, who didn't bother to even let me know and she decided on it before she got my info! Now, I am fighting with the ODI to try and get a fair decision, but now I'm sure UHC will kick and scream if they reverse it. Anyhow, my point is, make sure the Texas DOI doesn't stick it to you. I have already planted a bug up the ODI's bootie. They have until the end of business and then I am pulling out the big guns.
