Dear Perfume Crazy Clever Cat:

Actually, I would like your version of all your perfumes! Yes, I sadly

admit it--I am also an Amber freak. I would love the recipe. I have a

couple of perfume recipes of my own, but I am too insecure to post them.

Maybe someday...

You know, I will try it with a bit more Myrrh, just to see. As I said, I

love your version as it is. Do you have one for Champaca by any chance?

(Let me think of a few more toughies for ya!!!)

Love and thanks,

Tina Marie

To poetic Dolores:

If you would be so kind? I would love to experiment with it. Start

digging!

Hi Delores:

I don't personally sell the stuff...I managed to find some at a metaphysical

(New Age, Magickal) shop in Omaha.

Good luck!

I absolutely adore Amber...anyways, here is what I mix to replicate a

" sweet " amber:

2 parts benzoin absolute

2 parts labdanum e.o. (cistus or rock rose)

1 part balsam Peru e.o.

1 part sandalwood e.o.

You can also experiment by adding small amounts of clary sage e.o.,

frankincense or myrrh e.o., musk, patchouli, storax....

Ah, the elusive Champac! I had someone else request a verison of Nag

Champa..I gave up after several tries, but I will try again! ;-)

There seem to be a lot of different Dragons Bloods....I'd never heard of the

South American one before....the one I sell is a deep blood red resin that

comes from the chinese tree " dracaena draco " .....it has a warm musty honey

like smell and is burnt as incense similarly to frankincense resin.......and

Ive never seen it as an oil...
