So glad to hear Nick is okay. I hope he doesn't have to be in the

hospital too long.

That is amazing that he was able to pitch. I would think that the

pain would be excrutiating.

Thanks !! Nick is already out of the hospital. He was released

yesterday at 4:00 pm. Can you beliieve how soon they let people out

after surgery??!!! His pain was bad during the game but it steadily

got worse. He was in intense pain in the emergency room for 2 hours

before he had morpheine. He is still sore but alot better. Kids

bounce back quicker then adults the surgeon told me LOL~~---

OMG !

How scary! Nick must be an awefully tough little boy to play

baseball thru such horrible pain. Thank God you took him to the ER

right away & they removed his appendix. I don't want to think about

what could have happened if you hadn't taken him in. Good job mom!

Glad all is well now.

,

I am so glad to hear that Nick is doing fine and that you got him to

the hospital in time! What a devoted player he must be to be

pitching while being in so much pain. Things like this really scare

me, I wonder if I would have had the foresight to go to the ER, or

wait to see how it was in the morning. I always thought the appendix

was on the right side. I know if my kids were complaining about pain

around their belly button, I would think they over ate and were going

to throw up, or were gassy, at the worst maybe a hernia. I don't

think appendix would ever cross my mind! You did a great job Mom

getting him there in time!!
