I, too, noticed that and Winn both had little bumps or cists on the back left and right sides of both their heads last Wednesday. I mentioned it to at CT-Atlanta and she said it was probably lymph nodes. It of course bothered me too. I'm still concerned and will have them checked out at their nine month check-up in three weeks. I don't think they were their before the helmets were put on 10 days ago. So much has happened, I just can't remember. Silly me. I'll let you know what my pediatrician says.

Well, I'm being paged once again. What else is new. LOL

Hello everybody - just thought i would drop you a line

to give you an update on ons progress. We\went

back to see Dr Blecher a few weeks ago for a

adjustment - in 7 weeks his head had improved 7mm!!!

We were over the moon!! He is now nearly nine months.

He also has a small lump to the bottom of his head on

the left about .5cm in diameter that feels like

gristle or cist like it moves a little when you push

it - Dr Blecher is going to take a look at it - but i

wonderd if anyone recognises this at all? I'm really

hoping it's nothing - but it is niggling me a liitle.

Anyway, as ever - any advice would be greatly

appreciated!

lol

Eleanor:

Great news about on's head improving so much in just 7 wks.!

I'm sure more & more improvement will come in the mos to come.

As for the " lumps " you are describing, we've had several posts in the

pasts usually from DOCband babies regarding " bumps " on the side of

the head where the band's closure is. This has been described as

fluid retention that is harmless to the baby & will go away after the

child is out of the band for some time. I'm not sure if it's the

same as on's lump. Definitely have Dr. Blecher take a look at

it.

Keep us updated on his progress as well as the lumps.

I'm no expert on banding by any means, but Grant already has a pea sized bump that moves around...they are cysts. I have had a couple removed from behind my own ears when they've bothered me. Have a doc check it out, but it really sounds like harmless cysts. I think they are very common in everyone.

rella1234@... wrote: Eleanor,I'm not sure if its in the same place you described, but also had a small "cyst-like" bump on his neck, closer to his back, but on the neck area- that would move around- about pea sized, and we were told that this is like a fatty pocket or something like that- and not to worry. It went away- can't remember when- but I don't think its still there- but you know I'm going home to check! I was concerned when I first felt it and posted on the tort board and heard from several parents that felt the same thing and heard the same thing from their Docs. Hope this helps some! P.S. Great news that on is doing so well with the helmet!!!!! Sounds like he is doing beautifully, so glad to hear! Thanks for the update and please continue to update us!' MomFor more plagio info

Hi Eleanor! It's great to hear from you again. I'm thrilled to hear how much

improvement on has had! Wow - you must feel great! I'm sorry I can't

help with the lump thing specifically, but it sounds like something I've

heard of before here. Hopefully someone can help, if not Dr. Blecher will be

able to I'm sure!
