Thanks everyone for sending the birthday wishes. It's going to be fun,

and YES I'll be taking lots of pictures! When he first got his helmet, I

had decided I was going to take it off for his birthday, but I don't think I

will now. He seems to want it back one when I take it off to put his

clothes on or bath him. It's a part of his history. We are getting formal

pictures taken on Monday (his actual birthday), and I think I'll take it off

for those.

And about my working, I am grateful I was able to spend as much time with

as I have. In Canada we get the 1 year maternity leave now, and I took

FULL advantage of it! Besides, by going back to work I'll be eligible for

the mat leave when we go for #2...always look at the positive side!

I thought that I would too, but it when it finally came around we taped her

party hat right onto the helmet and had ourselves a great old time!! LOL!

Wow- that's great!!!!! And they act like 3 months in the U.S. is soooooo much time!
