Guest guest
Beth - Hi Beth. Wow! What a nice doctor? Is it Dr. Witt that everyone in KC seems to love so much Is Ryen getting a STARBand or a DOC Band? You might want to check out the insurance information in the fiels section on the website. Hopefully you won't need an appeal, but in case you do, there is a bounty of great info. In most cases, the band doesn't bother the baby at all. My son was banded at 5 months and wore it for 12 weeks. He never once seemed uncomfortable in it. He didn't like it being taken on or off. Even with that he would fuss for 5 seconds max! His head is close to perfect now! We were so pleased with our decision. Dane's mom DOC Grad - Cleveland > Hi, my name is Beth I have three boys, Matthue (12), Branden (6), and > Ryen (8mo). Guest guest
Hi Beth, and welcome to the group! It seems we have just had an influx of members from your area, you will be sure to get a lot of feedback from them. I'm so glad your doctor told you about this group. There are so many wonderful parents here who are more than happy to share their experiences with you. I wanted to tell you that my twins were about 8 months old when they received their STARbands, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the shape of their heads today! I hope the same will hold true for you and Ryen. Good luck to you Beth, be sure to let us know when you hear from Aetna.
