Guest guest
I have been using Glasslock products for my lunches because they are glass so I don't have to worry about reheating, leaking, or staining. I have collected a few of them over time from T J Maxx or Marshall's. The other day I was in T J Maxx I found a 17oz Glasslock Diet Shaker for $6. I know smoothies are best consumed when made but since these shakers are both airtight and leak resistant I plan on taking a smoothie to work with me in it. At one time they were sold on HSN but the video still exists. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxSAJBcvL28 Tom

Guest guest
Velda I have only used the glass twice now so I can't say how long it may last. I noticed that the smoothies I have made the pulp settles over time to the bottom of the glass and that attachment aids in remixing the pulp with the liquid.  I think these types of containers were meant to shake powders with liquids but only time will tell how it holds up to pulp. Even if the aid did break it wouldn't take away from its usefulness. It still is glass with an airtight lid that doesn't leak. I hope everyone has a great New Year and good luck to all those starting their resolutions tomorrow. I use Glass Lock storage containers all the time, I was curious how that mixing part attached by a fairly thin piece would hold and up in use and work for mixing stuff (it said in video you could mix other stuff in it).
