Don't forget to also make chips out of them. I think Anne Burrell does Tuscan Kale in a slow oven for about 30 minutes. 250F IIRC. Crunch to go with your smoothie drink.Sent from my iPadOn Jan 9, 2012, at 9:37 AM, "Robbie" <Lordshelpr@...> wrote:

We ate/drank collards all day yesterday...smoothies, collard wraps, and blanched collards in quinoa with a nut based sauce. Everything was really yummy and we have 7 bunches left. Tonight collard soup and more collard wraps. I'll make collard ice cubes with the rest as suggested by someone on this forum (great idea btw). Thanks so much for your help. Hi Rene, I really liked your video - ran it a couple of times trying to get the recipe written down, but need to do it again!! Unfortunately, I don't have a dehydrator, but I'm assuming I could put them on a cookie sheet in a very low oven until they are crispy??Ginny From: Rene Oswald <Rene.Oswald@...> Sent:

Check out my recipe for Kale Chips if you'd like. I've substituted collards several ties & they are delicious! Hi Lea Ann,I'm sorry I didn't see your post before I sent mine. I just remember seeing the collard question a couple days ago and not having time to respond, just responded without reading the previous posts! We are all connected!Love you Lea Ann and Velda!Rene :-) ---------------------Rene Oswald, RN, APHBest Beginnings, Inc. Rene's recipe is fabulous. My husband can't keep his hands out of

the jar I keep them in (until it is empty of course). I found a kale

chip product at the local health food store (a very good store I

trust). The ingredients on the label looked pretty much identical to

Rene's recipe, and the taste was even comparable (I use her recipe).

The difference was, the tiny bag of chips from health food store was

$7! You could make a whole bunch of that sized bags making them

yourself and you would be absolutely certain both of the ingredients

and the source for those ingredients. And you can add the Love to

them, as Rene says. (Grinning)

OMGoodness - I COMPLETELY forgot Collard Chips!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Kale and Collard chips!

Rene Oswald has a

great Kale Chip recipe (that is totally

interchangeable with Collard) and it is NOT OT because

she uses the Vitamix! :-)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBZ7q2bgRJM I

actually prefer Collards because they are so flat that

they seem more like potato chips.

And Rene is

completely right - these are SO ADDICTIVE (Verria -

next time you'll HOPE they give you too much Collards

(or Kale)! :-)

I'll archive the link

to this message.
