Buddy Walk on Washington in DC

Are you planning to attend the Buddy Walk on Washington in Washington DC on Feb

29 and March 1st? I am the State Captain from Iowa, and my name is Sue Carr. I

used to live in Oklahoma so have belonged to the Down Syndrome Associations of

both Iowa and Oklahoma. I want to encourage any of you who have not heard about

this important event to go to the National Down Syndrome Society website and

read the info about the event. We will be spending a day on Capital Hill meeting

with legislators regarding the issues affecting persons with Down Sydrome and

their families. There is important legislation going on in congress and we need

to get our wishes known. Please consider joining us in DC. We need more people

attending from all states. The last day to register for the event is TOMORROW,
