Vitamix Customer Service - was - cracked container?

Hello Beth and Stacey,I just called the Head of the Customer Service Department to find out if there is a reason for the long wait times. She said that sales this year are higher than ever before, and the two weekends with extra days off (Christmas and New Years) they came back to over 900 emails per day (1,800 emails to answer per holiday!!!) The voice mails are backing up, and wait times are long. They have hired 5 new customer service reps and they are in training right now. The training program lasts 6 weeks before they are able to take calls! (they do it right!)She is very aware that they are backed up, and many people who aren't even in the Customer Service department are pitching in to help handle the back log of emails, and voice mails. Beth - she said that she would handle your issue personally - if you send me your issue in an off-list email (include your shipping information and as much information about what has happened so far) I'll forward it to her. Thanks everyone for your understanding - Vitamix is working hard to provide top notch customer service, and they don't like the wait times right now either. Sorry, but know that they have 5 new CS reps in training and are doing the best they can to catch up!

Just waited for (no lie) 14 minutes for VM customer service...finally gave up and sent email to them instead. We'll see what they say. Thanks for the support.

The first time VM replaced it but said that the problem was that I bang it on the counter to loosen ingredients. I wasn't sure at the time because I hadn't been intentional about whether i did that or not. But since then I definitely *have not* done that. And yet, this second container is cracked so badly that it leaks when I use it.

Wow, Lea Ann! You do get results. I just got a call from a very helpful customer

service rep (Sandy?)--not even 2 hours from emailing you the info! She took time

to help me to problem solve about what might be causing my container issues.

Best of all, she promised to send a new one right away. She assured me that tho

it is uncommon for containers to crack/break so often, it is under warranty.

Thank you so much for your help! Long live VM~ :)
