Happy Father's Day!

I rarely post but am so blessed to have you in our lives. We are so grateful.

Last year I gained five stepchildren who compliment the five I already

have... and added four more grandkids to the two... oh, and most importantly,

the most loving and wonderful man I've ever known... we first met a " few " years

ago in the second grade, went through grade and high school together, junior

college and even went to the University of Houston together; " everyone " knew

we'd end up together. Uhm, just took the two of us a while, LOL. Gof knows what

He's doing even when we are slow... anyway, might've taken us a bit but we are

together now and it is incredible.

Now my ex is giving us grief. He decided to hire a lawyer who can't stand that

he agreed to pay extra child support for our boys, both of whom have Down

syndrome. They are now 16 and 11. Since I'm also now fighting my third battle

with cancer, he'd agreed to extra child support as it was obvious that I'd have

a difficult time, if able at all, to find a job after being " just a Jay--at-home

mom " for over 30 years, have kids with special needs, et al, plus the cancer.

Well now my lawyer wants an additional ten thousand to continue fighting and "

proof from experts " that it costs more to care for my boys than it would for

typical boys. Soooo.... I'm asking the experts for your input. Any and all input

to reinstate or at least increase from the minimum required by law child

support. Their dad makes plenty of money and is angry that I remarried, even

though he's wanted " out " for many years and told me I'd finally " got " it (how to

make him happy) when I filed for divorce.
