Man I feel old every time I see an acronym ... but I figured it out!!

Welcome...I guess I'm a sahmwdwotsbah.... (stay at home mom that does work

on the side but at home)

I have 6 children but 4 are (wow) grown and have moved on to their own

exciting adventures. At home is Hannah (13 in 6 days) and Theresa (9).

Hannah had a heart repair at 13 months and is now just a fun kid!

Theresa is her little sister (NDA) and not only entertainer but also the

translator of the family.

Welcome!!

Connie

I used to homeschool my son. There is a homeschool group. On the

groups pages, search for downsyndrome and homeschooling. It should come up.

There are many families who hs their children w/ds. My son w/ds didn't have

other health problems, so I can honestly say that " dealing with the school

system " was the toughest problem I had to deal with while raising him.

I don't have time now, but there are 'many' places online with educational help.

Each state has different rules for homeschooling. Do you know about 'your'

state?

Best wishes.
