Guest guest
Dear Honorable Officials: I am very concerned that our government is not giving the proper information to the people in NO and the hurricane areas regarding how dangerous mold is for your health. It is sad that I have written letters and called different government agencies for years in Delaware trying to get something done regarding the dangers of mold, but no one cares. Legislation was introduced some time ago. So many lives have been destroyed because of negligence from our government to protect the people. We expect our government to protect us and not just ignore our pleas for help. If you complain to a landlord about mold, you are evicted. There are so few lawyers for tenants. Most doctors do not know how to treat fungal disease. I find it interesting that all of these governor's mansions have been remediated at the expense of taxpayers, but there is nothing for the regular people. I have sat and watched news reports in disgust since these last hurricanes and the people are going into these homes and neighborhoods that are so dangerous. You cannot clean one home and not the one next door. Just going through belongings can be very dangerous. It is so sad that our leaders would turn their heads and look the other way because they do not know how to pay for all the sick. Who is going to pay for all the sick in NO and Texas. I can't believe people in Florida since last years hurricanes are still waiting for help. Then of course there are all the children from so many moldy schools throughout the country. The country is watching. Don't just sit and wait for more disasters because of neglect. Do something now to help the thousands and thousands that are waiting for medical help and compassion. I can't begin to tell you how much pain my family has endured from dangerous molds. For years I have read articles that scientific information is not available. It is available, the so called experts are not telling the truth. Please look into the serious matter before it is too late.
