Guest guest
Hello All, My building where I work has had a leaky roof for the past 2 years that I have been here. It got to the point that in my office it was raining down the walls and soaking the carpet. I already suffer from an autoimmune disorder so I thought that any symptoms I might have would be related to that. Well I had moved out of the office for a year. It is a very small dark office with no ventilation. It had been closed up for the most part that entire year. I recently had to move back to that office. I spent almost a full day in there and my throat started to burn really badly. I didn't think anything of it I thought I was coming down with a wierd cold. One of my buddies came in and noticed on the high ceilings that mold was grown there. After that I tried to stay out of the office. I have had to go into the office to get paperwork out of there. If I am even in there for a couple of minutes, my throat is burning and i'm hoarse and I am also suffering from really severe headaches. The symptoms seem to last for many hours often well into the night after I have been exposed. I had a client in there one day for about 5 minutes and she complained that her nose was burning. Any insight into the situation would be greatly appreciated....thanks....Tamila....
